John Donnelly is a vice president and senior editor at Burness Communications, working on its global health and science team. He writes for a variety of publications in a variety of ways, producing everything blogs to books. He is the author of A Twist of Faith: An American Christian’s Quest to Help Orphans in Africa and he is a regularly contributor to GlobalPost. He was a staff writer for the Boston Globe, Miami Herald and Associated Press, reporting from nearly 100 countries. He has focused on global health issues for the last 15 years, including opening the Globe’s first Africa bureau and covering the politics and policies of health from Washington.At Burness, John works primarily on the Global Health and Science team across a variety of projects in health and agriculture. He also assists our Health Policy and Public Health teams, writing about U.S. health and health care issues, working as an editor to our younger writers, and serving as a media trainer in our Health and Science Advocacy Institut
