Bitcoin Is Venice
Essays on the Past and Future of Capitalism
Allen Farrington, Sacha Meyers
Bitcoin Is Venice explores the potential of Bitcoin as a revolutionary force that can transform our society and bring about a new global Renaissance. With a critical examination of modern economic theory and fiat currency systems, this book offers a fascinating and entertaining manifesto for a more ethical monetary and financial system. The authors, Allen Farrington and Sacha Meyers, challenge readers to consider the impact of a Bitcoin standard on economies, governing bodies, and the concept of capital itself. All profits from the book are donated to the Human Rights Foundation, making this a powerful call to action for a fairer and more equitable world.

@allenf32 @saifedean @scribemediaco I haven't sorted out details yet but people should read "Bitcoin is Venice" if they haven't.
I only read half of it on a plane so far, amid various other books that want my attention, but damn this is a good one and I plan to finish it.
It competes for the top category slot. – source2022-03-14T19:02:20.000Z
This could become a classic. I’m reading my draft copy still, and it’s already the economic textbook I wish I had in my early twenties. No BS and yet profoundly illuminating. It’s fantastic.
If you care about economic theory, I suggest you get this book: – source
