Capitalism on a Ventilator sheds light on the dangers of relying on profits and competition in the face of a global pandemic. Instead of heeding warnings and promoting cooperation, the U.S. focused on racist propaganda, resulting in tens of thousands of COVID-19 deaths - the highest in the world. Socialist countries, Cuba and Vietnam, using people's mobilizations, were better prepared and have some of the lowest death rates.
