Speaking from Among the Bones

An eleven-year-old amateur detective and chemist, Flavia de Luce, finds herself digging up a body in the English hamlet of Bishop's Lacey. Excited to peek inside St. Tancred's tomb on the saint's 500th death anniversary, Flavia discovers Mr. Collicutt's crypt with his grotesquely masked face. She sets out to uncover who had a vendetta against him and why they hid him in a sacred resting place. The investigation isn't as straightforward as she first believed, proving that nothing is ever an open-and-shut case.
