The Communist Manifesto

This classic work, written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, is a foundational piece of communist literature. While the two authors are credited jointly, many believe Marx was the sole author of the text. The manifesto discusses communism as a spectre haunting Europe, and explains the tenets of the political ideology. It is divided into an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion, and has undergone multiple editions and translations since its initial publication in 1848.
