The Quantum Universe

(And Why Anything That Can Happen, Does)

Brian Cox

Delve into the fascinating world of quantum mechanics with The Quantum Universe. Written by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw, this book makes fundamental scientific principles accessible and captivating for everyone. Unlike many misconceptions, they contend that the subatomic realm need not be viewed as weird or mystical, but rather the "weirdness" can help explain the world around us. The Quantum Universe breaks down the theory and how it was constructed, revealing why it is a good model of nature. Comparable to the likes of Newton, Maxwell, and Einstein, this book is an essential read for anyone curious about the mysteries of the universe.

I've read a lot of books on quantum computing. These are the ones I recommend to get a great overview of quantum mechanics and then quantum computing.      source
