Probably my favorite, or at least my second-favorite book in the world: it’s a textbook, and it’s called The Second World War, by John Keegan. And it’s literally just 1200 pages at size 6 font about the Second World War. And I remember getting in trouble showing up to work tired because I would be up all night long reading this textbook about World War II; it was so riveting to me. I read it cover to cover probably three times. – source
