The Tale of a Niggun
Elie Wiesel
A heartbreaking tale of history, immortality, and the power of song set in World War II. The story follows the ghetto's leaders as they are faced with an impossible decision, and the rabbi who seeks the spirits of rabbis from centuries past for advice. With the help of a mystical melody, they prepare to face almost certain death at the hands of the Nazis. Magnificent full-color paintings by Mark Podwal accompany this narrative poem.

A new illustrated book, The Tale of a Niggun, by Elie Wiesel, is a powerful, heartbreaking story. The art by Mark Podwal is gorgeous. I’m giving it as a Hanukkah gift to our local synagogues. It will also be available @booksandbookskw. – source
