Edward M. Purcell
Learn the basics of electricity and magnetism with this classic textbook that has been updated to SI units in its third edition. With discussions of real-life applications and hundreds of new examples and problems, this nontraditional approach introduces magnetism as a relativistic effect and derives macroscopic phenomena rigorously from the underlying microscopic physics. Perfect for courses in electricity and magnetism, the textbook features nearly 600 end-of-chapter problems and exercises with solutions available for instructors online.

This book by Purcell was the best textbook I read as an undergraduate. It was so intellectually exciting, and had such fantastic pedagogy! I’m using relevant parts of it for my students this semester in multivariable calculus. – fuente
