Lacunae
100 Imagined Ancient Love Poems
Daniel Nadler
This debut collection of poems by Daniel Nadler explores moments of unintelligibility and the spaces in between things, where expansion and constraint merge. These poems are intended to fill the gaps in classical Indian poetry manuscripts with invented or translated work. Nadler's verse reflects a constant negotiation between restoration and conservation, resulting in clear and simple imagery that brims with life. Lacunae is a deeply felt and wise poetic landscape that is the work of an ambitious and talented new poet.
