Godin is the master at framing seemingly obvious things in insightful ways. I found this book inspiring and clarifying about what it takes to succeed. – fuenteMade me move to Silicon Valley and double down on being a tech entrepreneur. – fuente

Tiny quick read with a punchy point: Anything worth doing has a painfully-hard middle period, which is where most people quit. But knowing this in advance, ask yourself seriously if you really have the dedication to stick it through that hard time. If not, then don’t begin! Quit in advance! But if so, then expect that dark dip, and don’t quit when you’re in it. Read the whole book if this applies to you. There’s not a wasted page. – fuente2017-02-09T00:00:00.000Z
Start with “The Dip”. It’s about how every path in life has it’s up points and it’s down points. It’s a guide to getting through the down points. – fuente2022-03-07T19:04:26.000Z
Books on “doing the work” and why showing up each day matters. The ONE Thing (← this), The Dip (fastest), The Compound Effect (classic), The Obstacle is the Way (philosophical), and ReWork (the plan). You only need to read one, but I recommend them all. – fuente2022-09-15T14:31:21.000Z
