Two young girls must fend for themselves against wicked wolves and a cruel governess when their parents leave them in the care of Miss Slighcarp. In this classic tale, the girls' happy home is destroyed and they are sent to a prison-like orphan school. With the help of a gooseboy, they escape and must find a way to save their home.
