Real Boys
Rescuing Our Sons from the Myths of Boyhood
William Pollack
This influential book delves into the emotional lives of young boys, exploring why they may appear tough and confident, but are often sad, lonely, and confused. The author challenges traditional expectations about masculinity that drive boys' true emotions underground. Based on groundbreaking research, Real Boys provides insight into how parents can help their sons cultivate self-confidence and navigate difficult issues such as depression, love, and violence. A must-read for anyone with a son or working with young boys.
